Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired? Try this:

I have absolutely no formal training in anything medical whatsoever (unless lifeguard CPR counts?), but that hasn't stopped me from becoming a HUGE advocate of vitamins. Just ask any of my closest friends, I'm constantly shoving a multitude of different vitamins and supplements down their throats (you're welcome btw). Vitamins do so many things for your body, and without them your body would stop functioning entirely. To make my point a little more clear, here's a little analogy taken from http://www.vitamins-nutrition.org:

"Think of vitamins kind of like the fluids in your car. If you have no oil (vitamins) in your car, it does not matter how much gasoline (calories) you put in your car, your car will not run. For this reason, it is critically important to ensure a proper supply of vitamins in your car. Unlike the oil in your car, many vitamins are purged from your body daily. A high-quality liquid multivitamin will replenish lost vitamins and minerals."

Vitamins are especially important to college students for many reasons. College students sleep less, go out more and eat worse than any other age demographic. These three reasons alone cause a major depletion of crucial vitamins and minerals. Please please please, at the very least, take a freaking multi-vitamin. You'll have more energy, a stronger immune system and just feel better all around.
